In conversation with: Beenu Fernando

In 2022, we say goodbye to Beenu Fernando, who has been a TQF committee member since 2017.

Beenu brought to The Queen’s Fund over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and strong management skills. As well as working, raising a family and volunteering for The Queen’s Fund, Beenu is on the Board of HerSpace, a not-for-profit organisation specialising in providing trauma-informed wellbeing and mental health recovery services to women survivors of exploitation in Australia.

While a member of The Queen’s Fund, Beenu devoted her time to the Submissions and Referrals Subcommittees, establishing valuable cash partnerships with 2U Grocer and SpecSavers and using her excellent communication skills to write applications for funding to various trusts and foundations.
