Recognition of service: welcomes and farewells

The TQF Management Committee say farewell to Thelma Castles OAM (left), Kathryn De Bont (right) and Beenu Fernando.

2022 will see the retirement of three remarkable women from The Queen's Fund Management Committee: Thelma Castles OAM (pictured left), Kathryn De Bont (pictured right) and Beenu Fernando.

Between them, they have provided The Queen's Fund with 34 years of invaluable service. We wanted to take this opportunity to recognise the generosity of spirit and ongoing support that Thelma, Kathryn and Beenu have each shown The Queen's Fund and the women we seek to assist. To find out more about these amazing women, follow the links below.

We welcome new Board member Andrew Baxter and committee members Astrid Ajzensztat, Ilaria Bigaran, Lucy Saliba and Melissa Goode who bring with them a diverse range of skills.

We also thank our outgoing President Sally McLean and welcome our incoming President Lucy O'Sullivan, Deputy President Astrid Ajzensztat, Secretary Lucy Saliba and incoming Company Secretary Shireen Reddy.

The Queen’s Fund is 100% run by volunteers. If you’re interested in volunteering your skills and time with The Queen’s Fund, contact us at enquiries@queensfund.org.au
