The Queen's Fund increases grant amounts to $400

The Queen's Fund is excited to announce we will be lifting the maximum amount granted to women in need to $400.
This is a $50 increase from the previous amount of $350 that a woman could apply for within a 12 month period.
The change will come into effect following the closure of the current round of referrals on 15 October 2022. From this date onward, the new grant amount will be available to all applicants.
We at The Queen's Fund acknowledge the tough times that the women and children we strive to help in our community have had to live through, facing the harsh realities of a global pandemic, endless lockdowns and the surging costs of groceries, basic necessities, rent and utilities. We hope that lifting the grant amounts will help lighten the load.

EXAMPLE OF APPLICATION FORM

Please see an example of how to complete Q9 onwards on our application form, which can also be found on our website under “Apply for Assistance”.
As always our usual rules apply, where applications that do not contain enough information for us to be able to assess without asking for further details from the referring agency may be declined.

THANK YOU TO OUR PARTNERS

The Queen's Fund is always grateful for the generous support of our Partners, which help ensure that a little goes a long way by providing a little bit of extra value to each grant.
When you next consider applying for a grant with us, you may wish to pair your application with one of our partner offers. This may provide your client a better deal; whether it be a discounted pair of glasses or whitegoods, a debt waiver on their utilities bill, a larger box of groceries, or a recycled laptop to further their child or own education.
Information about all our Partner Offers can be found on our website.
