The Queen's Fund x Caroline Chisholm Society IWD2024

Count Her In: Invest In Women. Accelerate Progress.

This International Women's Day, The Queen's Fund is proud to highlight our partnership with the Caroline Chisholm Society and their work in addressing the needs of at-risk and vulnerable women and children in the Victorian community for over 50 years, to promote and enhance early childhood and parenting outcomes.

We share a commitment to providing opportunities for vulnerable women to gain assistance and support and to feel empowered in their lives, including through access to health services, education and material aid.

Between 2021 and 2023, The Queen's Fund has provided over $56,000 in grants to help women and children referred to us by the Caroline Chisholm Society.

Women's economic empowerment is central to a gender-equal world. When women are given equal opportunities to earn, learn and lead - entire communities thrive. The theme for International Women's Day 2024 is Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress and calls for greater economic inclusion for women and girls everywhere.

This year, we unite in the call to action to invest more in women, as well as in women's community organisations. Support, follow and spread the word on the Caroline Chisholm Society and The Queen's Fund's work to support single women and their children.
